GIRLS CLUB REGISTRATION OPENS TUESDAY FEBRUARY 21.

The Girls’ Club at Golfuture YYC is a proven program based on the premise that we can encourage more young girls to experience all of the positives and life skills the game of golf has to offer in a non threatening, positive, fun filled “girls only” learning environment. Our coaches and program coordinators have years of experience ensuring the girls will love the program and develop their skills and knowledge of the game. Girls will participate in weekly golf lessons, fun crafts and fundamental golf movement and skill development exercises.

The Girls’ Club focuses on introducing girls to the game and developing their skills to be prepared and confident for social competition. While developing friendships and learning how to compete many of the girls will be happy to remain playing at this level while others will progress and desire to compete on a tougher scale. The important point is the Girls’ Club program prepares them and offers that choice.

CLASSES & CLUBS

GIRLS CLUB CLASSES

A series of 2-hour sessions broken down into 55 minutes of full swing instruction, 25 minutes of short game instruction, and 25 minutes of craft, with 10 minutes of exercise and golf etiquette sprinkled in throughout various times in the day. The girls will rotate through these stations in smaller groups to break up the day and make each activity exciting! Girls Club is a great fit for junior girls of all skill levels, whether they are new to the game or interested in starting competitive play.

Suitable for girls age 7-16. we do our best to group girls each day by age and skill level so that it is easy to make friends and form playing groups.

Based on extensive feedback and research of junior development, we’ve modified the class structure slightly. The Spring season has two 8-session series ($565 plus tax), and two 4-sessions series ($300 plus tax). Our weekly activities are fun and engaging while promoting skill development. The program also offers enough individual instruction to be well suited for all age and skill levels.

GIRLS CLUB CAMP

A week long experience for 3 hours each day that includes full swing and short game instruction, craft, mini golf, and two rounds on the par three course. This camp is a great program for the girls to improve their technical skills and have the opportunity to use them during on-course play. Instructors will support the girls to learn course management, pace of play, and etiquette on the course. The craft station is a very popular component to the Girls Club program and offers a creative break during the day of golf. Presented by PGA Community and NCCP trained coach, Melanie Murchison.

Girls Club Camps run in July and August. Dates to be posted end of March.
